She has built her fan base through friendship with her audience and with many local artists in Arizona. This performer has a good sense of what the audience wants to hear. Her modern style reflects influences of Patty Griffin and Shawn Colvin, Gavin DeGraw’s earthy folk sound with Howie Day, and Dar Williams’ lyrical ability. Sandy's creative and experimental tunings are influenced by Ani Difranco, David Wilcox, and Dar Williams.
